Early Life and Career

Trent Jordan Watt, born on October 11, 1994, is an American football linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL). Hailing from Pewaukee, Wisconsin, Watt played college football at the University of Wisconsin, where he earned numerous accolades, including being named a consensus All-American.

Stellar NFL Performance

Watt was selected 30th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his rookie season, he made an immediate impact, recording 7 sacks and 17 tackles for loss. Watt's exceptional play continued throughout his career, as he earned four First-Team All-Pro honors and six Pro Bowl selections. In 2021, Watt reached the pinnacle of his career, winning the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award.
